African Immigrant Action Committee on Ebola (AIACE) closed out on.
One June 1, 2017 AIACE submitted report on its participation in the fight against Ebola in Africa. This program was launched on October 10, 2014 in the office of the mayor (Jesse L. Tweedle, Sr) of the city of Pleasantville, New Jersey.
Yerterday's reporting session brought together community and religious leaders. It was held right where it all began three years ago.
The chairman of the Board Dr. Inua Momodu gave the opening remarks. The reporting was done by AIACE's Director James D. Barclay in the form of a PowerPoint presentation.
In closing, mayor Tweedle praised AIACE for the splendit work as exhibited in its reports. Additional remarks were made by +Rev Dr. Robert F. Hargrove, II president of the Fellowship of Churches of Atlantic City & Vicinity, and Carlar Thomas, president Pleasantville School District Board of Education.
The program was clamaxed with an announcement from leaders of the African community of the intention to launch the Federation of African Communities (FAComs), the formal launch date for this entity will be announced soon.
